This policy explains what personal information Metabolae collects when you visit our store or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our store is hosted by Shopify.

What we collect

  • Contact & order details: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number, and what you buy, return or cancel.
  • Payment details: processed securely by our payment providers.
  • Account details: login and preferences, if you create an account.
  • Device & usage data: IP address, browser, and how you use the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Messages you send to our support team.

How we use it

  • To process and deliver your orders, payments, returns and refunds.
  • To provide customer support and send order and account updates.
  • To send marketing (email, SMS or ads) where permitted — you can opt out at any time.
  • To prevent fraud, keep the store secure, and comply with the law.

Who we share it with

  • Shopify and service providers that help us run the store (payments, shipping, analytics, customer support, hosting).
  • Advertising partners, to show you more relevant ads. You can opt out on our Your Privacy Choices page.
  • Authorities when required by law, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger.

Your information may be stored and processed outside your country. For transfers out of the EEA or UK we use recognised safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We keep data only as long as needed for these purposes. You can learn how Shopify handles data at privacy.shopify.com.

SMS messages

If you give us your mobile number and consent, you'll receive recurring automated texts (cart reminders, offers, order updates). Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We never share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing; only with the providers that deliver our messages.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising, and (in the UK/EEA) to object to or restrict processing and withdraw consent. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. We won't treat you differently for using these rights, and may need to verify your identity first. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Our store is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
